Diploma/Advanced Diploma/Post Graduate Diploma: CAD $15,000 – CAD $18,000

  • Canadian immigration fixed the cost of living amount as $10,000 CAD per year and it’s termed as GIC.
  • GIC means Guaranteed Investment Certificate where a student needs to deposit the amount into a Canadian Bank. This amount is a guaranteed rate of return for a period of one year and is accessible by the student after reaching Canada.
    • SDS is the Student Direct Stream process introduced by Canada immigration to make Visa process easy and fast. Applicants from India can apply for a Visa under the SDS process.

    Eligibility requirements under SDS

    • Should be a legal resident of India and should be applying from India
    • VISA needs to be applied online. A paper application will not be accepted under SDS
    • Letter of acceptance from DLI (Designated Learning Institution)
    • Statement of Purpose (SOP)
    • Pay tuition fee for the first year of education
    • GIC of CAD $10,000
    • Medical exam report
    • IELTS of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each band
    • Minimum academic credentials should be 60%  and backlogs are to be less than or equal to 6

A student can file his Visa, but not under the SDS process. Under the NON-SDS process a student needs to provide additional documents related to academics and financials.

Yes, foreign students can apply for PGWP program and under this program, a work permit may be issued for the length of the study program for a maximum of three years

The medical exam is valid for one year from the date when it’s taken. Students must undergo a medical exam again if Visa has not been issued within one year.

Every medical case is analyzed very carefully, including full medical history. Application for Visa will be rejected if your medical record is a threat to people living in Canada.
